OLCHS is sharing this information from the Village of Oak Lawn regarding the water main project along Southwest Highway. The contractor is approaching the 95th Street intersection and is expected to start work in the intersection on Monday, July 10. They are scheduled to make it across 95th Street in 2 weeks. During this time, multiple lane configurations, including lane closures and turn restrictions, will be in place along 95th Street. The lane configurations will extend beyond Austin Avenue. The village show the intersection remaining open during the work, but the dedicated left turn lane cannot be maintained at all times. Please plan accordingly and drive safely.
