Friday night kicks off the fall sports season at Oak Lawn Community High School as it hosts “Fall Green and White Night.” All fall sports teams will be represented, and each give a preview of what’s to come this season. The event will take place inside and out of the building.
On the tennis courts at the north end of the building, girls tennis will showcase the skills of the junior varsity and varsity teams at 5 p.m.
In the Spartan Gymnasium, Frosh/Soph volleyball will scrimmage at 5 p.m., junior varsity will follow at 5:45 p.m., and varsity takes the court at 6:30 p.m. In the pool, there will be a junior varsity against varsity intersquad meet.
On the football field, soccer will get things started as the JV and Freshmen teams will battle at 5 p.m., the varsity soccer team will play at 5:30 p.m. The cheer and dance teams will perform at 6 p.m., and the band will follow at 6:15 p.m.
At 6:30 p.m. the football team will suit up and take the field. The OLCHS Athletic Boosters will be in attendance for membership signup as well.
