The boys golf team at Oak Lawn Community High School is off to a great start this season. The Spartans have defeated Richards, Mount Carmel, Hillcrest, and Bremen. Chris Walker may just be the catalyst propelling the Spartans to the impressive start.
Walker posted a low score of 37 in three of the first five matches and is leading the team with the lowest average per round. He is certainly taking a lead role on the course.
“Not only is Chris shooting low scores, but he is playing the game with pride and respect and showing dedication and good sportsmanship while doing it,” said head coach Shawn Neubauer.
