The Illinois High School Association recognizes performance both on and off the field. They honor junior and senior athletes who have completed at least one full season in an IHSA sport and maintained a cumulative unweighted grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Here are the Oak Lawn athletes who earned this award by sport.
In Boys Golf it was Christian Richter and Shane Mulcahy.
In Boys soccer the recipients were Ahmad Amra, Jakub Haberny, Abel Herrera, Tristan Kramarz, Adam Kwak, David Morales, Cristian Morales-Reyes, and Dylan Walsh.
In Boys Cross Country the award winners were Hamzah Abdeljaber, Leo Chavez, Andrew Leon, Christian Orozco, and Kyle Rzepka.
In Football Nykolas Arellano, Emeen Hamad, Erhan Osmani, and Hamid Sharfi earned the honor.
In Girls Golf it was Jacquelin Canales, Kaitlyn Casey, and Raquel Enriquez.
In Girls Tennis there were a host of award recipients. They were Alexa Quintana, Yasmine Abdelghani, Rizan Ali, Elizabeth Concannon, Yumn Elameer, Emily Gregory, Eliza Janik, Jessica Komperda, Madyson Lane, Mia Wendt, and Avery Wessel.
For Girls Volleyball it was Kaitlyn Berkery, Kailey Dykema, Maeve Hassett, Amina Maali, Emma McAuliffe, Rihana Osmani, and Hailey Wierzgac.
For Girls Swim and Dive the recipients were Amelia Fudala, Alessandra Gabriel, and Mya Orozco.
In Girls Cross Country the award winners were Salma Bonilla, Nadine Taha, Layeal Yahia, Hadeel Yasin, Isabel Abarca, Dunia Daifallah, Anna Driscoll, Andrea Midnight, and Arlene Villagomez.
