Oak Lawn Community High School shot put athlete Mit Patel does all the little things for the team. He works hard whether the coaches are looking or not. He puts in the extra work in the weight room and in the classroom. He is the “unsung hero” of the boys track team, and that effort has the coaches singing his praises.
“Mit’s contributions and dedication make him an invaluable member of the team,” head coach John Jensen said. “His commitment to improvement in shot put and teamwork is truly commendable. Every practice, Mit gives it his all, constantly striving to better his technique and performance.
