Stuff You Need to Know
Ventra cards can be renewed for the 2024-25 school year and new Ventra cards can be purchased for $2.00 in the Business Office, Room 123. If you’ve already purchased a card online from the OLCHS Webstore, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to renew or purchase a card.

Tech Help - If you’re having trouble logging into your classes or having any other tech issues, please email [email protected] for tech assistance. If possible, include a screenshot of your issue.
The iTeam Genius Bar is open from 7:45 am - 3:00 pm. Students can come to the Media Center for support.
Club/Team News
Black Student Union - Are you looking to make new friends? Are you looking to be around people who share similar experiences as you? Are you looking to have lots of fun while immersing in Black American Culture? Then join BSU! Any students interested in joining the Black Student Union please see Ms. Hughes in Room 367 after school or email her at [email protected]. Meetings are held every Thursday from 3pm to 4pm.
Creative Writing Club - Hey all you creative writers! Are you interested in writing poetry, short stories, and being published in an annual magazine? Creative Writing Club will meet for the first time this year TODAY Tuesday August 20th at 3pm in the 117, the college and career center. See you there!
Fall Musical - Let’s get FABULOUS! Auditions for the fall musical Sister Act will be Wednesday August 21st for Freshmen and Sophomores, and Thursday August 22nd for Juniors and Seniors at 3:30pm after school in the Performing Arts Center. If you can’t come to your grade level day, THAT’S OK! Come either audition day. Friday August 23rd will be the call backs. All are welcome to audition for the show. Don’t have any musical experience? That’s fine! You will learn and be a part of our award-winning team and get the opportunity to perform alongside other new members and returning members. FSCAB - Are you a Freshman or Sophomore looking for ways to get involved this school year but not sure what club is right for you? Join FSCAB! The Freshman/Sophomore Class Advisory Board, also known as FSCAB, allows students with similar interests a chance to gather and plan leadership opportunities, volunteer for service learning, and attend school events. Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, August 21st at 3:00pm in room 117.
International Club- International Club is meeting Today Tuesday, August 20th at 3:05 in room 357 and we want you to join us. We learn about and celebrate different cultures. Bring a friend and help us plan fun activities for this year. See you there!

Mathletes - The Mathletes team will be kicking off the season Tomorrow Wednesday August 21st after school in room 209. New members welcome!
OLAS - Are you passionate about Latin American culture? OLAS (Organization of Latin American Students in Solidarity) is the perfect club for you! OLAS is a group of Hispanic students who gather to celebrate their culture and traditions and connect with others who share your interests. Whether you want to dance to the rhythm of salsa, savor authentic cuisine, or discuss important social issues, OLAS offers it all. Our first meeting is Thursday, August 22nd - come and join Latino students like you!
SCAB - Want to make an impact on your senior year? Join the Senior Class Advisory Board at our first meeting this Wednesday, August 21. We will decide our homecoming float and vote on the executive board in two weeks.

Athletic News
Baseball - There will be a short informational meeting after school on Thursday, August 22nd to discuss off-season workouts. All students interested in baseball and NOT participating in a fall sport should attend this meeting. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Gerny in Room 27.
