Stuff You Need to Know
Ventra cards can be renewed for the 2024-25 school year and new Ventra cards can be purchased for $2.00 in the Business Office, Room 123. If you’ve already purchased a card online from the OLCHS Webstore, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to renew or purchase a card.
Students that need a locker, school issued lock or any other locker related issues, email [email protected]. See your email for further details.

Tech Help - If you’re having trouble logging into your classes or having any other tech issues, please email [email protected] for tech assistance. If possible, include a screenshot of your issue.
The iTeam Genius Bar is open from 7:45 am - 3:00 pm. Students can come to the Media Center for support.
Club/Team News
Black Student Union - Are you looking to make new friends? Are you looking to be around people who share similar experiences as you? Are you looking to have lots of fun while immersing in Black American Culture? Then join BSU! Any students interested in joining the Black Student Union please see Ms. Hughes in Room 367 after school or email her at [email protected]. Meetings are held every Thursday from 3pm to 4pm.
Fall Musical - Let’s get FABULOUS! Auditions for the fall musical Sister Act will be TODAY Thursday August 22nd for Juniors and Seniors at 3:30pm after school in the Performing Arts Center. Friday August 23rd will be the call backs. All are welcome to audition for the show. Don’t have any musical experience? That’s fine! You will learn and be a part of our award-winning team and get the opportunity to perform alongside other new members and returning members. JCAB - Do you enjoy organizing fun activities with your friends? Do you like participating in community service? Would you like to help make your junior year the best one yet? Then the Junior Class Advisory Board is for you! Come to our first meeting next Wednesday, August 28th at 3pm in Room 107. All are welcome, so bring a friend!
Morning Show Media - Are you interested in learning about sound, lighting, and video production for live events? How about content creation, advertising, distribution, and social media marketing? If so, join us for the first meeting of OLCHS's newest club, Morning Show Media! At our meetings, we'll plan weekly concerts in the media center, organize video shoots, and start working on bringing back The Battle of The Bands. And yes, there will be donuts—I repeat, there WILL be donuts!
The first meeting will be held next Wednesday, August 28th, at 8:30 AM in Room 11.

OLAS - Are you passionate about Latin American culture? OLAS (Organization of Latin American Students in Solidarity) is the perfect club for you! OLAS is a group of Hispanic students who gather to celebrate their culture and traditions and connect with others who share your interests. Whether you want to dance to the rhythm of salsa, savor authentic cuisine, or discuss important social issues, OLAS offers it all. Our first meeting is TODAY Thursday, August 22nd - come and join Latino students like you!
Spartan Screamers - Are you a leader? Do you like planning and participating in school activities? Do you like volunteering to help in the community? If so, Spartan Screamers is a great club for you. Our first meeting is next Tuesday August 27th at 3:05pm in room 271. Hope to see you there.

Baseball - There will be a short informational meeting TODAY Thursday, August 22nd after school to discuss off-season workouts. All students interested in baseball and NOT participating in a fall sport should attend this meeting. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Gerny in Room 27.
