From the nurse’s office:
All freshmen must provide the health office with their ninth-grade physical examination and record of vaccinations before October 15th to prevent being excluded from school. Additionally, all seniors must provide the health office a copy of their meningococcal vaccine record before October 15th to prevent being excluded from school. These two requirements are state mandated. Please stop by the nurse’s office if you have any questions.
Summer isn’t over yet! During all lunch periods TOMORROW Tuesday September 24th you can buy a SNOW CONE! The Kona snow cone truck will be visiting as a fundraiser to help support the Music Department’s Spring trip to Disney! The Klassic is $4, the King is $5, the Color Changing Cup is $6 and the Kowabunga is $6. Get your frozen treat in the last days of the summer heat!
Ventra cards can be renewed for the 2024-25 school year and new Ventra cards can be purchased for $2.00 in the Business Office, Room 123. If you’ve already purchased a card online from the OLCHS Webstore, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to renew or purchase a card.

Graphic Design Club - Graphic Design Club will meet TOMORROW Tuesday, September 24th at 3pm in room 146, all are welcome! See Mrs. Hartmann in room 146 for more information.
Speech - It’s not too late to join the Speech Team! The team will be hosting new member workshops today and tomorrow from 3:00-4:00pm in Mr. Olsson’s room, Room 34. No experience necessary - hope to see you there!
Student Services News
Any sophomore, junior or senior interested in joining the military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or National Guard) OR interested in exploring more career options for after high school, you need to take the ASVAB exam. It will be given on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. You must register ahead of time. No cost to test.
