Next week is Spirit Week! To celebrate our fall musical, Sister Act, the cast and crew have planned some fun dress-up days! Themes are posted in the hallways, in the announcements, and on the TVs in the cafeteria. Join us in showing our school spirit!

Tuesday 10/29- Dress as your favorite singer!
Wednesday 10/30- Pajama Day!

There will also be a candy raffle in the cafeteria all next week for your chance to win tickets to see Sister Act! Join us on November 1st, and 2nd at 7:00pm, or 3rd at 2:00pm in the Performing Arts Center. Be Fabulous, Baby!
Do you like Crumbl cookies? Senior Class will be selling Chocolate Chip, Confetti Milkshake and Red Velvet Crumbl cookies TODAY Tuesday, October 22 during all lunch periods for $5. Only cash or Venmo will be accepted.
Calling all Spooky Spartans! Do you like Fall, scary things, pumpkins, and ghouls? What about all things Halloween? Creative Writing Club is sponsoring the Halloween/Fall Poetry contest! Enter up to 3 times if you would like. Submissions must be Halloween/fall themed and original. Deadline is Monday, October 28th. Winner will be notified Halloween Eve, Wednesday, October 30th.

Ventra cards can be renewed for the 2024-25 school year and new Ventra cards can be purchased for $2.00 in the Business Office, Room 123. If you’ve already purchased a card online from the OLCHS Webstore, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to renew or purchase a card.

Club/Team News
SADD - SADD Club is hosting a sidewalk chalk activity for National Teen Driving Safety Week TOMORROW Wednesday, October 23. The club will first meet in Room 119 at 3PM. Join us and show off your artistic skills. Everyone is welcome.

Girls Basketball - The girls' basketball season is just two weeks away, and open gyms are in full swing! To all girls who are planning to tryout, come out to open gym on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30-8:30 to work on your game. See you there!
Girl’s Softball - Anyone interested in playing softball in the Spring, there will be a quick meeting on Wednesday, October 30th at 3:15pm in room 241 to discuss off season workouts. If you can’t make it, reach out to Coach Neubauer in room 241 before school.
