OAK LAWN’S LARA ROLLS CAREER-HIGH 199 TO HELP DEFEAT BREMEN IN GIRLS BOWLING

All the training and adjustments heading into this season really paid off for Oak Lawn Community High School girls bowler Diany Lara when the team recently took on Bremen in a South Suburban Conference match. The senior rolled a career-high 199 and propelled the Spartans to a victory over the Braves.

“Going into her senior year, Diany is using a new ball and is constantly working on her technique, with her pin accuracy going unmatched and constantly picking up clutch spares” girls bowling coach Jen Faro said. “Diany exhibits every Spartan Athletic Core Principle, but her dedication to the team and her sportsmanship shine above the rest. The girls bowling team is lucky to have Diany as an athlete.”
