Stuff You Need to Know

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Bowling Team for winning the South Suburban Red Conference Championship last Friday at Palos Lanes. This is our 4th consecutive Conference Title. The Team finished 317 pins ahead of Shepard and 460 pins in front of Reavis. Freshman, Peter Garcia, bowled his first ever 300 in game #6 and was the individual Conference Champion. His teammates, Justin Canvin and Gavin Rybicki, finished in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. All three won All Conference honors. David Bush finished just out of the metals in 11th place, and Charlie Dell and Vinny McBrien were also instrumental in completing our four-peat.

On the JV level, we finished in third place, just behind Reavis and Shepard. Everyone bowled well but Decimus Pecina (6th place), Jose Zavala (7th place), and Ethan Aguinaga (9th place) earned All-Conference awards.

The regular season concludes with a match vs. Chicago Christian Monday, 1/13, and the Varsity moves on to the IHSA Regional this Friday, 1/17, at Palos Lanes.
