RYBICKI LEAVES LASTING LEGACY FOR OAK LAWN BOYS BOWLING

Senior Gavin Rybicki wrapped up his high school bowling career earlier this month, and he wrapped it up with ribbon and a sparkling bow for good measure. He averaged 223 pins per game for the month of January, he placed third at the South Suburban Conference Red meet, and he finished second at the Illinois High School Association Regional meet, missing first place by only 12 pins.

Rybicki finishes his Oak Lawn Community High School career as a four-time SSC Red Champion, a three-time IHSA Regional Champion, and a 2024 IHSA State Finals Qualifier.

“Gavin ended his Spartan bowling career with a bang,” head coach Kevin Walery said. He heated up in our post season. Congratulations on a phenomenal career, Gavin. You will be sorely missed next year and beyond.
