For Nataly Romero, wrestling starts and finishes with the right mindset. She works hard in practice, dedicates extra time to technique, and shows great fortitude on the mat. It is no surprise that she is being recognized by Oak Lawn Community High School girls wrestling coaches for this demeanor.
“Nataly is a dedicated and hardworking wrestler who consistently pushes herself to improve,” said head coach Matt Arthur. “She leads by example, demonstrating discipline, perseverance, and a strong commitment to her team. Her reliability, resilience, and passion for the sport make her an invaluable asset on and off the mat.
“Even though Nataly’s season has concluded, she continues to be a great teammate and shows up to practice helping and supporting the wrestler that are still competing.”
