Juniors, it’s time for the ACT test! Calling all juniors! This year, the ACT test will take place on Tuesday, April 15 and Wednesday, April 16. You will be notified of your specific testing day by Monday, April 7. To be successful on your ACT test, it’s important to approach your preparation strategically. Here are some key tips to help you succeed:

  • You can still sign up for ACT Prep sessions during Spartan Plus throughout the month of March and for the first two weeks in April. Our dedicated teachers are excited to help you be successful on your test. Make sure to look and sign up for these special sessions every Monday when selecting Spartan Plus.
  • ACT Bootcamp will take place Tuesday, March 18. The cost is only $20. All participants will receive testing materials that will help to enhance learning, as well as four hours of intense instruction on techniques and strategies that will help you be successful on the test.
  • The day before the test, make sure to eat a nutritious meal and drink plenty of water. Also, you should go to bed on time and get at least 8 hours of sleep. The morning of the test, eat another nutritious breakfast and arrive to school on time so that you have plenty of time to find your testing room.

Finally, the most important thing a student can do to prepare for the ACT test is to come to school every day and on time and ready to learn. Studies show that students who come to school every day and on time perform better on the ACT than students who are chronically tardy or have lots of absences.

With these recommendations, we know that you will ACE the ACT! You got this, SPARTANS!!!
