Kacper Liszka’s sophomore season in the pool for Oak Lawn Community High School built some true momentum from start to finish and culminated in dropping seven seconds off his season-best time and setting a new personal best in the 200-yard individual medley at the South Suburban Conference Red meet.
“Kacper had a wonderful sophomore season,” head coach Derek Maciaga said. “He started by finishing in the Top 5 at the Oak Forest Pentathlon Invite, was the 100-yard freestyle champion at the Kennedy Christmas Invite, and earned his second individual conference medal by placing third in the 200-yard IM.
“He added another two conference medals in the 200-yard medley and 400-freestyle relays. Kacper earns his success through hard work and dedication.”
