ELAYYAN EARNS ‘TRIPLE CROWN’ FOR OAK LAWN WRESTLING

Junior Faris Elayyan put himself in some rare company as a wrestler on the Oak Lawn Community High School team this year. He earned the prestigious “Triple Crown” of leading the team in wins, falls, and takedowns. As a captain, he did it all for the Spartans.

“Faris was Mr. Consistency for a young squad, setting the standard both on and off the mat,” head coach David Early said. “His leadership, work ethic, and determination made a lasting impact in the wrestling room, inspiring his teammates every step of the way.

“With one year left in his high school career, big things are on the horizon for Faris. As he enters his senior season, he will undoubtedly continue to lead by example and strive for even greater success.”
