Students, it’s time for the ACT/PreACT tests! This year, the ACT and PreACT tests will take place on Tuesday, April 15 and Wednesday, April 16. All students will be notified of your specific testing date by the end of the week. To be successful on your tests, it’s important to approach your preparation strategically. Here are some key tips to help you succeed:

  • The day before your test, make sure to eat a nutritious meal and drink plenty of water. Also, you should go to bed on time and get at least 8 hours of sleep. The morning of the test, eat another nutritious breakfast and arrive to school before 8:30AM so that you have plenty of time to find your testing room.
  • Make sure that you have a fully charged iPad before you come to school on your test date. If your iPad runs out of power before the end of the test, it could impact your score!
  • Focus on the learning you received from your teachers over the years. You are prepared to rock this test. Trust yourself and trust that your teachers have given you the training to succeed!

Finally, the most important thing a student can do to prepare for the tests is to come to school on time every day and ready to learn. Studies show that students who come to school on time every day perform better on the ACT/PreACT than students who are chronically tardy or have lots of absences.

With these recommendations, we know that you will BEST the TESTS! You got this, SPARTANS!!!
