OLCHS District 229 participates in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program which provides nutritionally balanced meals to all students. The NSLP is managed at the federal level by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and at the state level by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
